A day trip to Ngorongoro Crater from Arusha is an unforgettable experience. The drive takes about 3-4 hours each way, covering around 180 kilometers. You’ll leave early in the morning, passing through beautiful landscapes along the way. Once you arrive, you’ll descend into the crater for an exciting safari, spotting lions, elephants, rhinos, and many birds. A picnic lunch is included, giving you a chance to eat while enjoying the incredible scenery. Since the crater closes at 6 PM, you’ll start heading back in the late afternoon and reach Arusha by early evening. Simple, real, and packed with adventure.

Start your journey from Arusha or Moshi around 6:30 AM for an exciting day trip to Ngorongoro. This stunning wildlife haven is home to around 30,000 animals, including the rare rhino. With plenty of food and water, the park supports large herds of wildebeests, zebras, buffalos, elands, warthogs, hippos, and majestic elephants. It’s also packed with predators like lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard. You’ll depart with lunch boxes, water, enough snacks, and soft drinks to keep you refreshed throughout the day. After an incredible safari and a picnic lunch inside the crater, you’ll head back to Maasai BOMA and back to Arusha in the evening. A simple, realistic adventure full of amazing wildlife.
